HOW TO JOIN
To save on overhead cost, the membership enrollment mechanism leverages the tools of the Facebook platform. A “closed group” has been set up on Facebook with a three question application.

Membership Steps:

First, you must be a licensed physician (MD or DO) and actively practicing in Rhode Island.

If you don’t already have a Facebook account, you will need to set one up. You can set up an account on your smartphone or your laptop. Click here to read how to set up an account.

After establishing a Facebook account, search for “Rhode Island Physician Society” using the Facebook search bar at the top left of the Facebook page.

Click “+Join” next to “Rhode Island Physician Society”

Answer all three questions completely.

Membership will granted only when the answers have been verified.

Keep Facebook notifications turned “on” so that you are alerted to events within the group.

Please participate in periodic polls on issues that matter to practicing physicians so that physician opinions can be accurately reported to the public.
